What is a Micro School?
A micro school is a small community of students and educators offering more personalized and flexible learning than a traditional private school.
Founded in 2017, our micro school is a STEM-centered hybrid program designed for 1st through 12th-grade students.
We host three sessions per year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. In each session, we present core science and engineering, alongside global studies and world history, in a fun and engaging format.
In-person classes take place in Charlotte, NC.
2023-24 Enrollment Information:
This school year, we are studying biological anthropology, biomechanical engineering, and genetics.
This winter, our focus is on microbiology and cell theory, including the structures of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, understanding microbes, mitosis and meiosis, biological hazards, and infectious diseases.
2023-24 Session dates are as follows:
Fall 2023: September 15th - November 10th
Winter 2024: January 5th - March 1st
Spring 2024: March 22nd - May 24th
We have designed next year's sessions so that high school students can earn 1 full credit of biology with labs (120+ hours) after completing all 3 sessions.
